DECISIONS OF THE ORDINARY SENATE OF THE „ALEXANDRU IOAN CUZA” UNIVERSITY OF IAŞI

dated September 23, 2021, adopted pursuant to Article 8, para. (91) of the Regulation on the Organization and Functioning of the University Senate, via the ZOOM video teleconferencing system

1. Decision regarding the approval of the composition of the vote counting commission, as follows:

2. Decision regarding the fact that the manner of organizing teaching activities in the 2021–2022 academic year shall be determined at the level of each faculty, depending on educational and research specifics.

3. Decision regarding the approval of the Operational Procedure regarding the Conduct of “Face-to-Face” (On-site) Teaching Activities, drafted in accordance with the provisions of Joint Order no. 5.196/1.756/03.09.2021.

4. Decision regarding the approval of the Regulation on the Conduct of Teaching Activities via Technology and the Internet.

5. Decision regarding the approval of the curricula for bachelor’s university studies for the 2021–2022 academic year.

6. Decision regarding the approval of the curricula for master’s university studies for the 2021–2022 academic year.

7. Decision regarding the approval of the curricula for doctoral university studies for the 2021–2022 academic year.

8. Decision regarding the approval of the curricula for:
  • Psychopedagogical training program Level I (bachelor’s university studies), valid for the 2021–2024/2025 series;
  • Psychopedagogical training program Level II (master’s university studies), valid for the 2021–2022/2023 series;
  • Psychopedagogical training program Level I, in postgraduate regime, with a duration of 6 months, valid for the 2021–2022 series;
  • Psychopedagogical training program Level II, in postgraduate regime, with a duration of 6 months, valid for the 2021–2022 series;

9. Decision regarding the approval of the proposals of faculties/departments/doctoral schools to grant the status of associated teaching staff for the 2021–2022 academic year.

10. Decision regarding the approval of the proposal of the Faculty of Geography and Geology to grant the status of associated teaching staff for the 2020–2021 academic year to Prof. Andrés Rodríguez-Pose, PhD, and Prof. Guillaume Giroir, PhD.

11. Decision regarding the approval of job descriptions (state de funcții) for teaching staff in departments and doctoral schools for the 2021–2022 academic year.

12. Decision regarding the approval of job descriptions for research staff in ICI UAIC, faculties, and related structures subordinate to the Rectorate for the 2021–2022 academic year.

13. Decision regarding the approval of the faculties’ proposals to grant teaching delegations for the 2021–2022 academic year.

14. Decision regarding the approval of granting the title of Professor Emeritus to Prof. Habil. Dorina – Emilia Creangă, PhD, from the Faculty of Physics.

15. Decision regarding the approval of granting the title of Professor Emeritus to Prof. Constantin Sălăvăstru, PhD, from the Faculty of Philosophy and Social-Political Sciences.

16. Decision regarding the approval of granting the title of Professor Emeritus to Prof. Gheorghe Popa, PhD, from the Faculty of Orthodox Theology.

17. Decision regarding the approval of tuition fees for the 2021–2022 school year at the “Junior” Primary School, gymnasium level, as follows:
  • 750 lei – tuition fee for students whose parents are employees of the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iași with an indefinite employment contract;
  • 1200 lei – tuition fee for students whose parents are not employees of the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iași with an indefinite employment contract;

18. Decision regarding the approval of the tuition fee in the amount of 1750 lei for conducting the courses of the general psychopedagogical training module, postgraduate bachelor’s level I, 2021–2022 series. The distribution of the fee per each discipline of the module is as follows:
  • Pedagogy I – 250 lei;
  • Pedagogy II – 250 lei;
  • Educational Psychology – 250 lei;
  • Computer-Assisted Instruction – 100 lei;
  • Student Classroom Management – 150 lei;
  • Didactics of Specialization – 250 lei;
  • Pedagogical Internship in Compulsory Pre-university Education – 250 lei;
  • Final Evaluation Level I – 250 lei.

19. Decision regarding the approval of the tuition fee in the amount of 1225 lei for conducting the courses of the general psychopedagogical training module, postgraduate level II, 2021–2022 series. The distribution of the fee per each discipline of the module is as follows:
  • Intercultural Education – 175 lei;
  • Design and Management of Educational Programs – 175 lei;
  • Field Didactics and Developments in Specialization Didactics (high school, post-high school education, as applicable) – 175 lei;
  • Pedagogical Internship (high school, post-high school education, as applicable) – 175 lei;
  • Psychopedagogy of Adolescents, Youth, and Adults – 175 lei;
  • Counseling and Guidance – 175 lei;
  • Final Evaluation Level II – 175 lei.

20. Decision regarding the endorsement of modifying the composition of the Ethics Commission of the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iași by replacing Lect. Rev. Roger Coresciuc, PhD, following his resignation as a member of the Ethics Commission, with Lect. Rev. Lucian Păuleț, PhD.

21. Decision regarding the approval of the Regulation on the Organization and Functioning of the Ethics Commission.

22. Decision regarding the granting of the right to conduct teaching activities at the “Vasile Alecsandri” University of Bacău to Prof. Carmen Mihaela Crețu, PhD, from the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences, in the 2021–2022 academic year.

23. Decision regarding the granting of the right to conduct teaching activities at the “George Enescu” National University of Arts to Lect. Paula – Andreea Onofrei, PhD, from the Faculty of Computer Science, in the 2021–2022 academic year.

24. Decision regarding the granting of the right to conduct teaching activities at the University of Bucharest to Assoc. Prof. Eduard – Paul Rotenstein, PhD, from the Faculty of Mathematics, in the 2021–2022 academic year.

25. Decision regarding the granting of the right to conduct teaching activities at the “Ion Ionescu de la Brad” Life Sciences University of Iași to Lect. Mioara Mihăilă, PhD, from the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, in the 2021–2022 academic year.

26. Decision regarding the granting of the right to conduct teaching activities at the “Vasile Alecsandri” University of Bacău to Lect. Simona – Elena Vârlan, PhD, from the Faculty of Computer Science, in the 2021–2022 academic year.

27. Decision regarding the granting of the right to conduct teaching activities at the “Grigore T. Popa” University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Iași to Assoc. Prof. Sorina Chiper, PhD, from the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, in the 2021–2022 academic year.

28. Decision regarding the approval of the request to extend doctoral university studies, fee-paying, starting October 1, 2021, for a period of one year, for Mr. Silvian – Emanuel Man, PhD student within the Doctoral School of History.

29. Decision regarding the approval of the request to extend doctoral university studies, fee-paying, starting October 1, 2021, for a period of three months, for Mr. Yu Hak Je, PhD student within the Doctoral School of Economics and Business Administration.

30. Decision regarding the approval of transmitting to the National Authority for Qualifications the request for validation and enrollment of the qualification Applied French Linguistics, corresponding to the master’s university study program Applied French Linguistics, IF, 120 transferable study credits, in the National Register of Qualifications in Higher Education (RNCIS).

31. Decision regarding the approval of transmitting to the National Authority for Qualifications the request for validation and enrollment of the qualification Applied Linguistics – English as a Foreign Language, corresponding to the master’s university study program Applied Linguistics – English as a Foreign Language, IF, 120 transferable study credits, in the National Register of Qualifications in Higher Education (RNCIS).

32. Decision regarding the approval of transmitting to the National Authority for Qualifications the request for validation and enrollment of the qualification Physics, corresponding to the bachelor’s university study program Physics, in English, IF, 180 transferable study credits, in the National Register of Qualifications in Higher Education (RNCIS).

33. Decision regarding the approval for Ms. Melinia P. Ștefan (Alexa), a graduate of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, Accounting and Management Informatics specialization, to take the bachelor’s exam at the “Ștefan cel Mare” University of Suceava, Faculty of Economic Sciences and Public Administration, Accounting and Management Informatics specialization, in the February 2022 session.
