Decisions of the University Senate of December 22, 2016

1. Decision regarding the approval of competition commissions for teaching and scientific research positions, temporary and permanent, put up for competition in the first semester of the 2016–2017 academic year, according to the annexes.

2. Decision regarding the approval of the competition commission for filling the position of scientific research assistant, full-time, included in the job description of the research project POC-A1-A1.2.3.-G-2015, ID P_40_371, SMIS 106611, entitled Experimental development in public-private partnership for the creation of native cloud platforms with advanced data protection characteristics – PRIVATESKY.

3. Decision regarding the approval of the competition commission for filling the position of scientific research assistant, part-time working schedule of 80 hours/month, included in the job description of the research project POC-A1-A1.2.3.-G-2015, ID P_40_371, SMIS 106611, entitled Experimental development in public-private partnership for the creation of native cloud platforms with advanced data protection characteristics – PRIVATESKY.

4. Decision regarding the approval of the appeals commission of the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iași for teaching and scientific research positions put up for competition, in the following composition:
President: – Prof. Carmen Tamara Ungureanu, PhD – Faculty of Law;
Members: – Prof. Doina Humelnicu, PhD – Faculty of Chemistry;
  • Prof. Ovidiu Stoica, PhD – Faculty of Economics and Business Administration;
  • Prof. Adrian Grozavu, PhD – Faculty of Geography and Geology;
  • Prof. Nelu Zugravu, PhD – Faculty of History.

5. Decision regarding the approval of the reorganization and renaming of the existing Legal Office structure, with all existing positions, into the Legal Bureau, which shall be led by a Bureau Head subordinate to the Rector of the University, as well as the approval of transforming the vacant Legal Counselor position in the job description of the Legal Office into the position of IA Legal Counselor – Bureau Head.

6. Decision regarding the approval of the reorganization of certain administrative structures within the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iași, as follows:
  • Establishment of a new structure named Directorate for Dormitory – Canteen Coordination and Informatization, which shall be led by a Coordinating Director and shall include in its structure the following substructures:
    • Directorate of International Exchanges, led by a Director;
    • Directorate of Student Social Services, led by a Director;
    • Department (Bureau) of Statistics and Informatization, led by a Bureau Head.
  • The position of Coordinating Director shall be subordinate to the Administrative General Director of the University.
  • Transfer of a Financial Administrator position (S) from the structure of the Human Resources Directorate – Salary Service to the General Administrative Directorate and its transformation into a Coordinating Director position.

7. Decision regarding the approval of the results of the competition concerning the allocation of merit increments for auxiliary teaching staff from the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration and the Interdisciplinary Research Department – Sciences Domain, according to the Annex.

8. Decision regarding the validation of the election as student representatives in the Council of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, starting with the 2016–2017 academic year, of the following students:
  • Nicolae P. Hilohi, year I, bachelor’s university studies;
  • Gabriel M. Căriman, doctoral university studies.

9. Decision regarding the validation of the election of student Ana Maria Matei, year I of studies, Biology specialization, as representative of first-year students for all specializations, in the Council of the Faculty of Biology, starting with the 2016–2017 academic year.

10. Decision regarding the validation of the election of student Alexandra Maria Chiper as student representative for bachelor’s university studies in the Council of the Faculty of Mathematics, starting with the 2016–2017 academic year.

11. Decision regarding the validation of the election of student G.G. Cristina Chiriac as student representative for the field of Environmental Science, bachelor’s university studies, 3 [Note: text reflects original numbering/formatting] in the Council of the Faculty of Geography and Geology, starting with the 2016–2017 academic year.

12. Decision regarding the validation of the election as student representatives in the Council of the Faculty of Philosophy and Social-Political Sciences, starting with the 2016–2017 academic year, of the following students:
  • Andrei Emil Toescu, Political Sciences specialization;
  • Melania Diana Buzdugan, Human Resources specialization;
  • Francisca – Helean Cojocaru, International Relations and European Studies specialization.

13. Decision regarding the approval of the Revenue and Expenditure Budget for 2017, according to the annex.

14. Decision regarding the validation of the composition of the Quality Assurance Commission within the Faculty of Geography and Geology, in the following composition:
  • Lect. Mihai Bulai, PhD – Vice-Dean for International Relations and Study Programs;
  • Prof. Doru Toader Juravle, PhD – Director of the Department of Geography;
  • Prof. Nicolae Buzgar, PhD – Director of the Department of Geology;
  • Maria Rebegea – Chief Faculty Secretary;
  • Student Dumitru Daniel Badea – Geological Engineering specialization, year III of studies.

15. Decision regarding the approval of establishing the Center for Evaluation and Certification of Professional Competencies, which shall function within the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports, according to the Annex.

16. Decision regarding the approval of submitting authorization files for the following occupations/qualifications within the Center for Evaluation and Certification of Professional Competencies, Faculty of Physical Education and Sports:
  • Beach lifeguard, COR code 541903;
  • Trainers, instructors, and sports officials, COR code 3422.

17. Decision regarding the approval of the Operational plan of the Faculty of Geography and Geology for 2017, according to the annex.
