Senate Decisions of July 14, 2016

1. Decision regarding the validation of the team of vice-rectors proposed by the Rector, Prof. Tudorel Toader, PhD, in the following composition:

2. Decision regarding the approval of initiating the procedure for starting the Master’s study program in the field of Law, specialization European Law, within the University Extension of the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iași at the “Alecu Russo” State University of Bălți, Faculty of Law and Social Sciences in the Republic of Moldova.

3. Decision regarding the approval of modifying the calendar for electing the dean of the Faculty of Physics, where a single candidate has registered.
The new calendar for filling the position of dean at the Faculty of Physics is as follows:
• Submission of competition files on July 15, 2016 and July 18, 2016, at 12:00 PM;
• Meeting of the Faculty Council for endorsing candidacies on July 18, 2016, at 1:00 PM;
• Competition files shall be submitted to the Rectorate, with a registration number from the Registry of the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University, on July 18, 2016, by 4:00 PM.
The interviewing of candidates shall take place during the period initially established by the Competition Methodology for filling the position of dean at the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iași, approved pursuant to Senate Decision no. 6 of June 30, 2016.

4. Decision regarding the postponement of the decision concerning the inclusion in the curricula of bachelor’s study programs organized within the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iași of the discipline Physical Education, a complementary discipline included in four semesters, with the request for details regarding the financial impact on faculty budgets from the Board of Administration.

5. Decision regarding the approval of the proposal of the Director of D.I.D.I.F.R., Prof. Liviu-George Maha, PhD, to change the name of the Department for Distance Learning and Part-Time Learning of the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iași to Department for Continuous Training, Distance Learning, and Part-Time Learning of the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iași.

6. Decision regarding the approval of the proposal of the Center for European Studies to classify and organize the Project Manager program (COR code 242101) into the specialization course category, with a view to periodic re-authorization.

7. Decision regarding the approval of the proposal of the Center for European Studies to classify and organize the Trainer of Trainers program (COR code 242402) into the specialization course category, with a view to periodic re-authorization.
