Senate Decisions of March 27, 2015

1. Decision regarding the approval of the Rector’s Report on the state of the university for 2014, in accordance with Article 10, paragraph (2), point (a) of the Management Contract – Annex 1.

2. Decision regarding the approval of the Methodology on the organization and conduct of bachelor’s/diploma and dissertation examinations, according to Annex 2.

3. Decision regarding the approval of the Methodology on the organization and conduct of admission to the doctoral study cycle for the 2015–2016 academic year, according to Annex 3.

4. Decision regarding the approval of the Regulation on the organization and conduct of the process for obtaining the habilitation certificate, according to Annex 4.

5. Decision regarding the approval of the proposals for granting merit salary gradations for teaching staff, for the period 2015–2019, from the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration and the Faculty of Physics, according to the Annex.

6. Decision regarding the approval of the proposal from the Faculty of Physics to grant the title of Doctor Honoris Causa of the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iași to Professor Roman Wolfgang Schrittwieser from the University of Innsbruck and of the Laudatio drafting commission in the following composition:

7. Decision regarding the approval of the proposal from the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences to establish the Research Center in the Field of Education Sciences and the appointment of Assoc. Prof. Nicoleta Laura Popa, PhD, to the position of Center Director.

8. Decision regarding the endorsement of the proposal to mandate the Senate Bureau to approve the Reports of the Specialized Commissions, taking into consideration the Rector’s Report on the state of the University.

9. Decision regarding the approval of replacing ec. Monica Moișanu, member of the Ethics Commission, with Ioana Păștinaru from the Department of International Relations. The new composition of the Ethics Commission of the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iași is as follows:

10. Decision regarding the approval of the proposal from the Faculty of Geography and Geology to reduce the tuition fee for students from Africa in the Francophone module, as follows:
  • bachelor’s university studies – Tourism Geography = 190 Euro/month;
  • master’s university studies – Tourism and Regional Development = 190 Euro/month.

11. Decision regarding compliance with the procedures established by the specific methodology and approval of the reports on the competition for filling the position of scientific researcher (CS), for a fixed period, put up for competition in the first semester of the 2014–2015 academic year, from the staffing table of project PN-II-ID-PCE-2012-4-0477. Appointment to the position shall be made effective April 6, 2015.

12. Decision regarding the establishment of the master’s program Strategic Human Resources Management in Europe, in English, within the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, starting with the 2015–2016 academic year.

13. Decision regarding the approval of the Methodology for admission to university studies of foreign citizen candidates, starting with the 2015–2016 academic year, according to the Annex.

14. Decision regarding the approval of the Regulation on the organization and functioning of the Public Information Bureau, according to the Annex.

15. Decision regarding the establishment of the “Universitas” Choir, conducted by Gabriela Enășescu.
