Better Doctoral Programs

During the period April 1, 2009 – March 31, 2011, „Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iaşi is implementing the project “Innovation and Development in Doctoral and Graduate University Programs for Adapting Scientific Research to the Needs of the Knowledge Society”.

Project Purpose: Developing the content of study programs within the doctoral and postdoctoral school in the spirit of convergence with the innovation needs of society and interdisciplinary scientific approach as favorable elements in increasing the visibility of university research.

The target group is composed of the staff of the 13 doctoral schools – all doctoral supervisors and all course holders within the doctoral schools. The target group also includes the administrative staff of the Doctoral Department.

Doctoral Scholarships

During the period October 1, 2008 – September 30, 2011, „Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iaşi is implementing the project entitled “Developing the Opportunities Offered to Doctoral Students for Flexible Trajectories in the Research Career”.

General objective of the project: Training young researchers within doctoral schools in the spirit of sustainable development and transnational approach, as favorable elements of the knowledge-based society, yet specific to Romanian strategic needs.

Target group: full-time doctoral students of the University (IOSUD).
