Overview

Involved in activities for the professional and personal development of young chemistry volunteers, ASCIS offers young people the opportunity to get involved in organizing and participating in various cultural, social, sports, and artistic events.

To the question “What does ASCIS mean to you?”, the young members answered:

“ASCIS helped me integrate more easily, get rid of inhibitions, broaden my horizons, and form interpersonal relationships”;

“You learn to work in a team, to be more responsible, you have the chance to put your ideas into practice and to know and develop your potential. Another benefit of being an ASCIS volunteer is being appreciated and receiving feedback from others”;

“For me, ASCIS means a place full of warmth, inspiration, self-rediscovery, evolution, and challenges. Whether it’s a project, an action, or a phone call to solve a problem, the team spirit I found in ASCIS gave me energy and inspired me in the desire to achieve more and better.”

This involvement in the student-university-employer assembly allows us to provide useful information to any member, student, and young chemist.

The purpose of ASCIS is to create an organized framework that brings together students and graduates of Romanian higher education institutions in the field of chemistry.
