Overview

The Association of Young People in Physical Education and Sports aims to promote sport as a method of personal development and non-formal education for young people and other age groups. To achieve its proposed purpose, the association has the following objectives: 1. Using sport as a method of social integration; 2. Promoting young talents in sports and related fields; 3. Organizing courses and training internships in various fields; 4. Developing teamwork; 5. Implementing projects to diversify the activities of the students of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports; 6. Developing contacts and partnerships with various institutions. ATEFS has been a member of the USR federation (National Student Union of Romania) since March 2010, which has brought us into contact with student organizations with experience and projects at the national level, such as Unifest, USR Summer Camp, etc. Up to the present moment, ATEFS members have ensured the organization of student sports competitions, and not only that, both locally and nationally (Brașov, Constanța). We are also present at various trainings and workshops on topics ranging from team building and organizational management to project management. This year, our goal is to train an accredited trainer within our organization. Last year, we reviewed 3 projects written and approved by CCS Iași within FestudIS and beyond, which united us as a team and formed an efficient working method. This year, we are going to expand our team in order to be able to put more ideas into practice.

Projects

ATEFS has helped every member express themselves, enjoy the group, and put their ideas into practice. Therefore, every registered member is a gain. We have organized many projects, but the most important ones that have stayed in our memory are the following:

“Sport Show” – Sports Equipment Exhibition;

“Santa Claus in a Tracksuit” (“Moș Crăciun în trening”)

A humanitarian project aimed at cheering up, materially and morally, schools in more precarious situations, with various sports equipment, educational materials, and gifts for the best students in studies and sports.

Dragobete at ATEFS “Speed dating”

Socializing with ten people, 5 minutes each.

Happy Hour

A project made with the purpose of each student league meeting with a number of members and learning to work together, getting to know our colleagues from other student leagues.
