Decisions of the University Senate of October 25, 2017

1. Decision regarding the approval of the composition of the vote counting commission, as follows:

2. Decision regarding the approval of the Regulation on the functioning of the Department for Teacher Training.

3. Decision regarding the approval of amending article 4, article 11 par. (6) and article 15 of the Regulation on the organization and conduct of pedagogical practice, as follows:
Art. 4. Students who opt for the teaching profession are obliged to participate in all activities included in the curriculum of the teaching professionalization module. In this regard, students shall complete an annual registration form for the disciplines within the psycho-pedagogical training (annex 1) which they shall submit to the faculty secretariat/DPT.

Art. 11, par. (6). For the proper conduct of the activity, the university teaching staff – methodologist/practice supervisor, shall be able to supervise a maximum number of 20 students (2 groups). The norming of the activity shall be done in the job description, in accordance with current regulations. In the job descriptions, practice groups shall be formed based on the number of students who have completed and passed the disciplines included in the curriculum of the teaching professionalization module, plus students enrolled in the pedagogical module who have completed an Erasmus internship.

Art. 15. This regulation was approved in the meeting of the Senate of the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iași on 27.06.2017 and applies to students enrolled starting with the 2017/2018 academic year.

4. Decision regarding the approval of the proposal of the Faculty of Chemistry to grant the title of Doctor Honoris Causa of the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iași to Prof. Matthias TAMM, PhD, from the Technical University of Braunschweig, Germany, and of the Laudatio Drafting Commission, in the following composition:

5. Decision regarding the granting of an advisory opinion to the request of the Executive Bureau of the Board of Administration concerning the initiation of procedures for the negotiation and acquisition of the building – construction property of Telekom Romania Communications, located in Iași municipality, 28 Alexandru Lăpuşneanu Street (formerly 14 Alexandru Lăpuşneanu Street), Iași county.

7. Decision regarding the approval of verifying compliance with procedures established by the specific methodology and approval of the synthesis report on the competition for filling the scientific research assistant position – temporary, put up for competition within the research project PN-III-P4-ID-PCE-2016-0026, acronym NANOTWEEZ, financing contract no. 33/12.07.2017, according to the annex. Appointment to the position shall be made effective November 1, 2017.

8. Decision regarding the approval of the amount of doctoral scholarships granted from the own revenues of the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iași for second-year doctoral students, in the amount of 1050 lei/month, supplementing Senate Decision no. 3 of 30.03.2017.

9. Decision regarding the approval of including in the Laudatio Drafting Commission, established on the occasion of awarding the title of Doctor Honoris Causa of the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iași to Mr. Andrei Pleşu, Accounting Officer Prof. Mihaela Onofrei, PhD.

10. Decision regarding the approval of tariffs charged for the technical execution of biological electron microscopy samples and for the analysis of physiological parameters in plants, within the Laboratory of Biomonitoring and Environmental Quality Remediation (L2-CERNESIM) operating in the spaces of the Faculty of Biology.

11. Decision regarding the granting of the right to conduct teaching activities at the “Alecu Russo” University of Bălți, Republic of Moldova, to Prof. Anca Cehan, PhD, from the Faculty of Letters, in the 2017–2018 academic year.

12. Decision regarding the granting of the right to conduct teaching activities at the University of Bucharest, Faculty of Orthodox Theology “Justinian the Patriarch”, to Prof. Rev. Viorel Sava, PhD, from the Faculty of Orthodox Theology, in the 2017–2018 academic year.
