Senate Decisions of February 27, 2014

1. Decision regarding the approval of the Methodology on the organization and conduct of admission to the doctoral university study cycle for the 2014–2015 academic year, according to the Annex.

2. Decision regarding the approval of the tuition figures proposed for doctoral university studies in the 2014–2015 academic year, according to the Annex.

3. Decision regarding the approval of registration and tuition fees for doctoral university studies in the 2014–2015 academic year, according to the Annex.

4. Decision regarding the approval of professional conversion programs starting with the 2014–2015 academic year, according to the Annex.

5. Decision regarding the approval of the Methodology on the organization and conduct of admission to professional conversion programs for pre-university teaching staff for the 2014–2015 academic year (full-time and distance learning education), according to the Annex.

6. Decision regarding the approval of the Methodology for admission to university studies of foreign citizen candidates in the 2014–2015 academic year, according to the Annex.

7. Decision regarding the supplementation of the Methodology on maintaining the status of tenured faculty member in university education / research after reaching the age of 65, with the following text:
Article 2 (2) The status of tenured member shall be maintained until the end of the current academic year, at the request of the tenured member, with the approval of the Senate.

8. Decision regarding the establishment of certain Research Centers within the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iași for which institutional recognition is requested, according to the Annex.

9. Decision regarding the validation of the election of PhD student Ioan Bogdan Robu to the Council of the Doctoral School of Economics and Business Administration.

10. Decision regarding the validation of the election of PhD student Mădălina Laura Cuciureanu to the Council for Doctoral University Studies within IOSUD – “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iași.

11. Decision regarding the replacement of student Maria Bordianu from the Faculty of Roman Catholic Theology, member of the University Senate, with student Constantin Antohe, for the duration of the LLP-Erasmus study mobility.

12. Decision regarding the approval of extending by one month the deadline for the public defense or the submission of the thesis for public defense for PhD student Mihai Carp, funded through a POSDRU project, from the Doctoral School of the Faculty of History.

13. Decision regarding the approval of extending by three months the deadline for the public defense or the submission of the thesis for public defense for PhD student Ovidiu-Mihai Mihăiuc, funded through a POSDRU project, from the Doctoral School of the Faculty of Philosophy and Social-Political Sciences.

14. Decision regarding the approval of extending by 12 months the deadline for the public defense or the submission of the thesis for public defense for PhD student Vasile Irimia, funded through a POSDRU project, from the Doctoral School of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, under the condition of returning the remaining amount.

15. Decision regarding the approval of the Faculty of Biology’s request to conduct the training course ensuring the preparation of Biology teachers in Specialty and in Specialty Didactics, as follows:
