DECISIONS OF THE ORDINARY SENATE OF THE „ALEXANDRU IOAN CUZA” UNIVERSITY OF IAŞI

dated July 22, 2021, adopted pursuant to Article 8, para. (91) of the Regulation on the Organization and Functioning of the University Senate, via the ZOOM video teleconferencing system

1. Decision regarding the approval of the composition of the vote counting commission, as follows:

2. Decision regarding the verification of compliance with procedures established by the specific methodology and approval of the synthesis reports on competitions to fill permanent academic positions of associate professor and university professor, put up for competition in the second semester of the 2020–2021 academic year. Appointment to the position shall be made starting with the first day of the first semester of the 2021–2022 academic year.

3. 4. Decision regarding the verification of compliance with procedures established by the specific methodology and approval of the synthesis reports on competitions to fill permanent academic positions of teaching assistant, put up for competition in the second semester of the 2020–2021 academic year. Appointment to the position shall be made starting with the first day of the first semester of the 2021–2022 academic year.

5. Decision regarding the verification of compliance with procedures established by the specific methodology and approval of the synthesis reports on competitions to fill temporary academic positions of teaching assistant, put up for competition in the second semester of the 2020–2021 academic year. Appointment to the position shall be made starting with the first day of the first semester of the 2021–2022 academic year.

6. Decision regarding the verification of compliance with procedures established by the specific methodology and approval of the synthesis reports on competitions to fill research positions of Scientific Researcher I, with a ½ work norm, and Scientific Researcher II, fixed-term of 2 years, put up for competition in the second semester of the 2020–2021 academic year. Appointment to the position shall be made after the validation of the competitions by the Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digitization, confirmed by the appointment order for the position of Scientific Researcher I, respectively Scientific Researcher II.

7. Decision regarding the verification of compliance with procedures established by the specific methodology and approval of the synthesis report on the competition for filling the permanent research position of Scientific Researcher II, position no. 12 from the job description of the Department of Exact Sciences and Natural Sciences – CERNESIM Center, put up for competition in the second semester of the 2020–2021 academic year. Appointment to the position shall be made after the validation of the competitions by the Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digitization, confirmed by the appointment order for the position of Scientific Researcher II.

8. Decision regarding the verification of compliance with procedures established by the specific methodology and approval of the synthesis report on the competition for filling the permanent research position of Scientific Researcher III, position no. 28 from the job description of the Department of Exact Sciences and Natural Sciences – CERNESIM Center, put up for competition in the second semester of the 2020–2021 academic year. Appointment to the position shall be made starting September 1, 2021.

9. Decision regarding the verification of compliance with procedures established by the specific methodology and approval of the synthesis reports on competitions for filling temporary research positions of scientific research assistant and scientific researcher, put up for competition in the second semester of the 2020–2021 academic year. Appointment to the position shall be made starting September 1, 2021.

10. Decision regarding the verification of compliance with procedures established by the specific methodology and approval of the synthesis report on the competition for filling the position of Scientific Researcher (CS), position 2, fixed-term (12 months), put up for competition within the research project “How is the sensorimotor transformation of tactile information achieved for precise goal-directed naturalistic actions?”, acronym TOUCH_FOR_ACTION, ID PN-III-P1-1.1-TE2019-1699, TE 32/2020.

11. Decision regarding the approval of the scenario for organizing and conducting teaching activities in the 2021–2022 academic year by resuming activities in physical, face-to-face format. In this context, course/tutorial activities may also be conducted online, as follows:
o For study programs organized in the full-time learning form, course activity may also be conducted online, within the limit of at most 25% of the semester hours volume for each discipline.
o For study programs organized in the part-time and distance learning forms, tutorial activities may also be organized online, within the limit of at most 75% of the semester hours volume for each discipline.

12. Decision regarding the approval of the acquisition of the building property with annexes and land located at 16 Gheorghe Asachi St., Iași Municipality, owned by Harry Wechsler and the Wechsler Family Foundation, in accordance with the Justification Memorandum, endorsed by the Board of Administration.

13. Decision regarding the approval of the Regulation on the Organization and Conduct of Teaching Activities for Distance Learning (ID) and Part-Time Learning (IFR) Forms at the level of the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iași.

21. Decision regarding the approval of tuition fees for the 2021–2022 school year from the “Junior” School and Kindergarten, as follows:

• 750 lei – tuition fee for students of employees of the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iași;
• 1200 lei – tuition fee for students whose parents are not employees of the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iași.

• 700 lei – tuition fee for children of employees of the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iași;
• 1150 lei – tuition fee for children whose parents are not employees of the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iași.

22. Decision regarding the approval of the tuition fee in the amount of 3000 lei for “Self-Funded in Lei” students attending the Preparatory Year of the Romanian language course for foreign citizens, starting with the 2021–2022 academic year.

28. Decision regarding the approval of establishing and initiating accreditation procedures for the following training programs for pre-university education teaching staff:

29. Decision regarding the approval of phasing out (liquidation) of the master’s study program European Master in Child Rights Protection, IF, within the Social Work field, starting with the 2021–2022 academic year.

Decision regarding the approval of initiating the procedure for establishing study programs (extension/double diploma) at the Bălți Extension, Republic of Moldova, in accordance with Decision no. 2/09.07.2021 of the Executive Bureau of the Board of Administration of the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iași, as follows:
