Decisions of the Ordinary Senate of the „Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iași of May 27, 2021 adopted pursuant to Article 8, para. (91) of the Regulation on the Organization and Functioning of the University Senate, via the ZOOM video teleconferencing system

1. Decision regarding the approval of the composition of the vote counting commission, as follows:

4. Decision regarding the validation of the election of PhD student Irina – Marinela Deftu, as interim representative of doctoral students in the Council of the Doctoral School of Philological Studies.

5. Decision regarding the validation of the election of PhD student Marina Stăuceanu and PhD student Dumitru Daniel Badea as interim representatives of doctoral students of the Council of the Doctoral School of Geosciences.

6. Decision regarding the validation of Assoc. Prof. Laura – Gabriela Sârbu, PhD, to the position of member of the Council of the Faculty of Chemistry.

Decision regarding the approval of verifying compliance with procedures established by the specific methodology and approval of the synthesis reports on competitions to fill positions of Scientific Researcher III (CS III) and PhD student, positions 8 and 9, fixed-term, put up for competition within the research project “Innovative photocatalytic nanoreactors, core/shell@void@shell type”, acronym GHOST 3D.

Decision regarding the approval of verifying compliance with procedures established by the specific methodology and approval of the synthesis report on the competition for filling the position of master’s student, position 5, fixed-term, put up for competition within the research project “Hydrogen production and advanced water treatment using innovative photocatalysts with 3D heterostructures”, acronym Revolution3D.

25. 26. Decision regarding the approval of the competition commissions for filling the positions of experienced researcher – Scientific Researcher III (CS III) and PhD student, included in the job description of the research project “Household Saving Behavior – A Socio-Economic Analysis from the Perspective of Households, Banks and Regulators”, acronym SAVEBEHAVE, project code PN-III-P4-ID-PCE-2020-0929, fixed-term.

27. Decision regarding the approval of the Activity Report for 2020 and the annual financial statements concluded on December 31, 2020 (abridged balance sheet, abridged income statement report, allocation of financial exercise result, statement of immobilized assets for non-patrimonial activities) of the “Alumni – Alexandru Ioan Cuza University” Foundation of Iași.

28. Decision regarding the approval of concluding surface rights contracts with the Iași City Hall, free of charge, for a period of 99 years and with all costs related to the establishment of the surface right borne by the City Hall, for the areas corresponding to statues located on land belonging to the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iași.

29. Decision regarding the approval of maintaining the tenured status in university education for the 2020–2021 academic year, after reaching the age of 65, for Prof. Rev. Gheorghe Popa, PhD, from the Faculty of Orthodox Theology.

30. Decision regarding the approval of the exam session from September 1–10, 2021, provided in the structure of the 2020–2021 academic year, to be dedicated to students who benefited from Erasmus mobilities in the 2020–2021 academic year and students who, for well-founded reasons, could not finalize their academic situation at the end of the second semester, regardless of the year of study.

31. Decision regarding the approval of transmitting to the National Authority for Qualifications the request for validation and enrollment of the Medical Chemistry qualification, corresponding to the Medical Chemistry bachelor’s university study program, in Romanian, within the Bălți Extension in the Republic of Moldova, IF, 180 transferable study credits, in the National Register of Qualifications in Higher Education (RNCIS).

32. Decision regarding the proposal that the Structure of the 2021–2022 academic year be re-discussed in the next Senate meeting, given that it was not approved.

33. Decision regarding the non-approval of supporting the bachelor’s exam by Ms. Magria C. Andra – Mariana, a graduate of the “Gheorghe Cristea” University of Science and Arts in Bucharest, Faculty of International Economic Relations, International Economic Relations specialization, at the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iași, Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, Economics and International Business specialization, in the July 2021 session.

34. Decision regarding the non-approval of supporting the bachelor’s exam by Mr. Filer Ștefan, a graduate of the “Gheorghe Cristea” University of Science and Arts in Bucharest, Faculty of International Economic Relations, International Economic Relations specialization, at the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iași, Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, Economics and International Business specialization, in the July 2021 session.
