Student E-mail

Students of the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iași can obtain email services following a collaboration between UAIC and Microsoft Romania.

The service is provided for students of the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University without maintenance or support costs and ensures the following services for each student:

• institutionally, students receive an account in the format firstname.lastname@student.uaic.ro;
• cloud data storage space with a capacity of 1 TB;
• individual or group work with documents through the applications: Word Web App, PowerPoint Web App, Excel Web App, and OneNote Web App;
• space for their own website with a public and group section;
• contact agenda and instant messaging.

Microsoft Office 365 is available using each student’s network access user account (students who do not have an account can register at https://register.uaic.ro/studs/). The service uses the single authentication system implemented by the Department of Digital Communications of the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University connected to the Office 365 access system.

The access account for Office 365 program resources is the same access account created at D.C.D. that is also used for authentication in the wireless network, the dormitory network, access to the Eduroam system, etc. If you already have such an account, please use it. If you do not have such an account, you can obtain it by completing the registration form available on https://register.uaic.ro/studs/.
