Senate Decisions of April 15, 2014

1. Decision regarding the approval of the Report of the Commission for Bachelor’s Programs and Pre-University Teaching Staff Training Activities, taking into consideration the Rector’s Report on the state of the University.

2. Decision regarding the approval of the Report of the Commission for Master’s and Doctoral Study Programs, taking into consideration the Rector’s Report on the state of the University.

3. Decision regarding the approval of the Report of the Commission for Scientific Research Programs and Knowledge Transfer, taking into consideration the Rector’s Report on the state of the University.

4. Decision regarding the empowerment of the Senate Bureau to make decisions during the interval between ordinary Senate meetings for current matters.

5. Decision regarding the approval of maintaining the status of tenured faculty member in university education for Prof. Marina Mureșanu, PhD, from the Faculty of Letters, until the end of the 2013–2014 academic year.

6. Decision regarding the approval of maintaining the status of tenured faculty member in university education for Prof. Rodica Albu, PhD, from the Faculty of Letters, until the end of the 2013–2014 academic year.

7. Decision regarding the approval of maintaining the status of tenured faculty member in university education for Assoc. Prof. Ligia Doina Constantinescu, PhD, from the Faculty of Letters, until the end of the 2013–2014 academic year.

8. Decision regarding the approval of maintaining the status of tenured faculty member in university education for Assoc. Prof. Mariana Rodica Brânzei, PhD, from the Faculty of Computer Science, until the end of the 2013–2014 academic year.

9. Decision regarding the approval of maintaining the status of tenured faculty member in university education for Prof. Dorina Budugan, PhD, from the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, until the end of the 2013–2014 academic year.

10. Decision regarding the approval of maintaining the status of tenured faculty member in university education for Prof. Maria Prisacariu, PhD, from the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, until the end of the 2013–2014 academic year.

11. Decision regarding the establishment of the master’s program Applied Mathematics in Finance and Computer Science, taught in English, within the Faculty of Mathematics, starting with the 2014–2015 academic year.

12. Decision regarding the approval of certain bachelor’s and master’s university study programs to be evaluated by ARACIS in the 2013–2014 academic year, as follows:
  • Education Sciences, Pedagogy specialization, FT – bachelor’s studies;
  • Psychology, Psychology specialization, DL – bachelor’s studies;
  • Education Sciences, Intercultural Relations and Strategies specialization, FT – master’s studies.

13. Decision regarding the approval of tuition and doctoral thesis defense fees proposed by doctoral schools for self-sponsored citizens in Romania from states that are not members of the European Union, the European Economic Area, and the Swiss Confederation, according to the Annex.

14. Decision regarding the validation of the request to take the bachelor’s examination by Cristina-Gabriela Ţabrean, a graduate of the Faculty of Law, 2012 graduating class, “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iași, at the “Nicolae Titulescu” University of Craiova.

15. Decision regarding the approval of extending by 6 months the doctoral study term for the public defense of the thesis, under a fee-paying arrangement, for PhD student Arsenie-Samoil D. Mihalache, funded through a POSDRU project.
