8. Decision regarding the approval of amending Art. 3 para. 1, Art. 4 para. 1, and Art. 12 para. 2 of the Regulation on the Organization and Functioning of the University Senate (ROFS), as follows:
Art. 3 para. 1: The University Senate is composed of 71 senators, of which 53 teaching staff and researchers and 18 students. The distribution of seats in the University Senate is carried out according to the Methodology for organizing elections for academic management structures and positions at the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iași, approved by the Senate, based on the principle of representativeness and proportionality of faculties and ICI-UAIC.
Art. 4 para. 4: In exceptional situations, for a determined duration, in case of a justified absence of a senator, they can be replaced, upon request, by one of the next ranked at the elections from the same structure, in descending order of the number of votes obtained.
Art. 12 para. 2: The permanent specialized commissions of the University Senate are constituted according to the activity fields of the vice-rectors, established by the Rector of the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iași through their appointment decision.

Decision regarding the approval of establishing the bachelor’s university study program Universal and Comparative Literature – Romanian Language and Literature, in the Language and Literature bachelor’s university study domain, in the full-time learning form, 180 transferable credits, within the Faculty of Letters, starting with the 2020–2021 academic year.
10. Decision regarding the validation of the election of the following student representatives in the Council of the Faculty of Chemistry, starting with the 2019–2020 academic year:
– Student Bulăiasa G. Ştefania – Iolanda – representative of the bachelor’s university study cycle;
– Student Ciorteanu C. Roxana – Elena – representative of the master’s university study cycle;

Decision regarding the approval of verifying compliance with procedures established by the specific methodology and approval of the synthesis report on the competition for filling the CS III position, on a temporary basis, put up for competition within the project Development of frontier research in regional growth and development theories through the prism of resilience: towards a convergent, balanced and sustainable European Union ReGrowEU, project code PN-III-P4-ID-PCCF2016-0166, in accordance with the annex. Appointment to the position shall be made effective November 11, 2019.
